Camilla
misses her girls' big day
Byline: Richard Kay SHE'S already been forced to
cancel one official duty -- and now the Duchess
of Cornwall's broken leg is playing havoc with her
private engagements, too. A day after abandoning
a visit to London's Polish Centre, where she was
due to sign a book of condolence for the victims
of the recent air crash, Camilla had to miss the
wedding of her best friend's daughter. She had been
looking forward to raising a glass to Honor Benson,
daughter of her old school chum Carolyn 'Chubby'
Benson, who wed banker Andrew Priestly at Chelsea
Old Church on Saturday. Chubby, the widow of Old
Etonian racing figure Charlie Benson, has been a
close friend of Camilla's since their schooldays
at the now defunct ladies' academy in Southover
Manor, East Sussex. Still, at least Camilla will
be entranced by the wedding photos as two of her
grandchildren were bridesmaids -- cousins Eliza
Lopes, whose mother is Camilla's daughter, Laura,
and Lola, whose food writer father is the Duchess's
